Who do you live with?
I live with my foster parents, their two resident dogs, and one other foster Frenchie. My best friend is definitely my foster mom. She takes such good care of me, teaching me how to be a good girl and how to navigate around the house like a pro. I love to follow her around wherever she goes!
WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE?
I am so cozy and comfortable in my very own crate! It’s my happy space.
WHERE DO you sleep?
I sleep through the night like a little angel in my crate.
DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH?
Enh, I’m not a huge fan of the leash. It is a little bit much to be out there with all those smells overwhelming my nose! I am alright with short walks in cool weather, but I tend to get tired and overheat easily, so let’s not push it, okay?
DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
I sometimes find myself in spots that foster mom says I should not be in. I try to tell her I’m just checking things out, but she tells me to “get out of there!” and I am a good girl, so I do it. And I tend to walk really close to my humans, which means I am often right underfoot and might trip them up or get myself stepped on if they don’t know I’m there!
ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)?
Yes! I have only had one accident inside. I have a regular routine so I am going potty outside consistently throughout the day.
DO YOU LIKE WATER?
I am all about drinking water (who isn’t, right?), and I am a very good girl in the bath. I should definitely not be around a pool or other body of water, though. Frenchies just aren’t built for water activities, and the fact that I am not able to see makes it especially important to keep me safe from that stuff.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY?
What’s not to love? They took me in when I needed a safe place to stay, and they have shown me what it feels like to be treasured and loved. They have taught me that I am deserving of a life full of toys and food and belly rubs and balls.
WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE?
That’s a good question, but I don’t have much of an answer. All I know is that I was at a shelter, which was no fun at all. I couldn’t see anything and it was pretty scary and confusing. But I stayed strong until NorCal Bully Breed Rescue came for me, and they got me out of that place and into my wonderful foster home. Now that I have been here for a while, I am ready to find my forever home so I can have more fun new experiences. Will you show me what life is like with a family of my own?
WHAT IS YOUR ADOPTION FEE?
$500
What do you look like?
Adorable isn’t even enough to adequately describe my cuteness. I have a GORGEOUS merle coat that is so soft, you will want to pet me constantly. My foster mom calls me a little snow leopard! I love that description!
WHat do you like to eat?
I mostly eat kibble with a little wet food mixed in just for fun. I play with blueberries a little bit because they’re kind of like a ball, as far as I can tell. I’ll tell you more about my love affair with balls later!
What kind of personality Do you have?
My personality is the best! I am such an easygoing girl. I am always happy and just love to be loved. If you give me belly rubs, I’ll be your best friend! I absolutely ADORE playing with a ball. I carry my ball around and fall asleep with it in my mouth most of the time. It is my favorite thing in the whole world!
Describe your perfect day
I wake up happy and love a good play session after my morning potty and breakfast. Of course, that play session will definitely involve chasing the ball around! I can’t see it, but boy oh boy is it fun to chase that little rascal around the yard! I take naps in between play sessions and meals throughout the day like a good little girl.
What is your favorite Toy?
Ummmm… I think we covered this already, right? Ball is life, of course! Let’s go play!
Do You Know any Tricks?
I am really smart, so I can learn whatever you teach me. My most impressive talent right now is that I sit my little booty down after I go potty and then make a beeline directly for the treat jar to get my “good girl” treat. It’s really cute, if I do say so myself!
What Scares you?
I’m pretty brave, actually. I am open to trying new things, although it is probably good if we have a consistent setup for my water and food bowls, furniture, and the toy box so I don’t have to sniff too hard to find them.
Have you been around children?
I have been around my foster family’s young granddaughter and I like her a lot. But I should probably just be around older children. I sometimes try to grab my toy while we play tug and don’t realize it is not in your hand, so a young child might get scared if it seems like I am biting. I’m really not biting, I’m just not sure where the toy is at that moment!
Do you like cats?
I have not been around cats.
How do you feel about other DOGS?
I like dogs, but I should be in a home with a dog that is patient and tolerant of me when I am a little bit of a pest. Hey, don’t judge! I haven’t had that much exposure to other dogs and it is all very new. Please make sure you set me up for success with slow introductions!
If you could be anywhere, where would it be?
Anywhere that you are, as long as you bring my ball with us! If there are belly rubs and a ball, I will be a happy little nugget!
HOw's your health?
Well, first of all, I am blind. Yup, you read that right. But it does not slow me down a bit. I like to say that I can do anything that other dogs can do, except see! I am running, playing, chasing my ball, and getting around the house without a problem. I’m all over it! I’ve got some eye drops that the doctor wants me to have long term to help my eyes stay healthy overall, but that is the only medical treatment I need. My foster mom thinks I might be a little hard of hearing, too, but I am responsive to loud claps or commands.
