I am a pit mix with some German Shepherd.
HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH?
I weigh about 50 lbs, but still light enough for my foster parents can easily pick me up.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE?
I am cute with my orange/brown and black brindle fur. A medium size dog and pretty slender. I have a cute face and my ears like to fold back and stay that way.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT?
I like to eat Kibble. I love any treats, especially stinky treats like freeze dried liver. I also love cheese and enjoy eating peanut butter.
WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE?
I’m as sweet as the come! My foster parents say I am gentle and shy.
DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY
Get up, stretch my legs outside on a walk. Then it’s time to eat breakfast. After that I would love to play around outside. Then relax on a nice comfy bed or couch, preferably next to you with snacks. In the evenings, I would love another walk then enjoy my dinner. Afterwards relax on the couch and get rubs while I chew on a Nylabone. The best part of the day would be being with you.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY?
I like to chew on my Nylabone, but love a kong filled with treats. I like ropes and fluffy toys but they don’t last long with me.
DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS?
I know how to sit, hand out my paw, lay down too. I am treat motivated when learning new treat.
WHAT SCARES YOU?
No noises or anything scares me. My foster parents have made a lot of noises and nothing bugs me. I am shy, so new people or extremely energetic dogs will take me time to get to know and love them, but if a person got treats or dog likes to play, I can get over my shyness quicker.
HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN?
I like children. I do not live with any children, but I have been around them often. I am pretty gentle around them and do not mind them when they are running around.
DO YOU LIKE CATS?
I have not been around one to find out, but I do like to play so not sure how they will react to my energy.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS?
I love dogs and love to play with other dogs. I like playing with my foster’s dog and chasing her around the yard. I can occasionally be shy with new dogs if they are overly excitable like my foster’s dog, that I may need a slow introduction and then I will be playing with them as if I was never shy.
IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE?
My favorite place would be near someone while on a nice comfy dog bed or couch, if I am permitted.
HOW IS YOUR HEALTH?
I am in excellent health. I have plenty of energy to play and go on walks.
WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION?
I live with my foster parents and their dog. I am closest to my foster dad because he spent the most time with me when I first came to live with them. I love cuddling with my foster mom since she gives the best rubs. I also like to cuddle with their dog too.
WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE?
I hang out in my crate when my foster parents are not home. I am fine being crated, but I do prefer a nice nylabone to pass the time.
WHERE DO YOU SLEEP?
I sleep in my crate at night. But during the day I like to nap next to foster parents when they are on the couch.
DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH?
Yes! I like going on walks. I usually walk beside my foster parent. I do not get distracted on walks, but I do get excited when I want to play with another dog.
DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
I do not have any “not-so-great habits”.
ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)?
I am house trained.
DO YOU LIKE WATER?
I am totally fine with a hose running in the yard. I am not a fan of using the hose on me for baths, but I will stay for the bath. Rain does not bother me at all.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY?
That they give me rubs, snuggles, treats, and walks.
WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE?
Hard to say what my life was like before coming to NBBR especially since I came as a young puppy, but I was always with my brother. I am ready to find my forever home just like my brother did and spend the rest of my life getting rubs and treat.
